I've graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Film/Video, concentration in directing (you can see some of my stuff at my youtube channel, [link]). I've moved back to central Illinois to be closer to family for a while. Earlier this year, my mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer, but through a miracle of the grace of God, she's been given a clean bill of health from all of the specialists she's seen since her surgery. I'm currently working at the local Public Broadcasting Station as a member of their production crew (mostly, I run a camera for their in-house productions). I'm hoping to do grad school in the next couple of years, majoring this time in cinematography.
I haven't drawn much of anything in the last year. I think I OD'ed doing storyboards for my final thesis film (which wasn't finished due to a malfunctioning 16mm camera. Long story. Lots of pissed people, lots of lost money. That's about .25% of why I've moved back home). Since then, I've tended more toward cinematography and photography. Let me know what you think! Comments and crits are welcomed with open arms.
Merry Christmas and happy new year, Deviantart!
